GP, I think your mistaken. All of the Vermont 'big' mountains except the bush are open. Likewise, we have 5 or 6 inches of snow here in Cambridge, MA for you...

Garrett,

That is an awesome picture of fresh groomed white stuff. I am on the east coast and all I can do is drool over that picture dreaming that someday winter will come.

nothing good is really open up there. coverage is pretty lame and none of the 'real' slopes are open. i like to get in the trees alot too. i know many of the resorts are open like jay, stowe, smuggs, etc, but the quality is pretty lame. i am not going to toss down $52 at stowe to ski some greens and blues. still holding out. my buddies out west got slammed the past few weeks. they suck!!!! usually have to wait until jan. for the good stuff anyhow.
that pic was taken a few years back in stowe. all i could do is watch ski movies all weekend.

ps: and when has 5-6" even been good enough for anyone. lol..... :)

I got snow here in Utah. I was in florida the week after thanksgiving and came home to 4 feet of snow in my driveway and an additional foot from the plow. No problem for the Disco though!

I am a pilot, but not a V-22 pilot. As a Boeing employee, I am authorized to fly on them. However, thanks to our great media; we haven't flown in a year.
