Had the battery disconnected while doing some work and cant seem to find my radio code, do I have to call LR and give them the VIN to tell me the code?

Sometimes dealerships are reluctant to do this over the phone. Some require you bring the vehicle in. I got mine over the phone.

What sad times are these when a passerbyer can take the last 8 digits of my VIN and get my radio code?

customer information is also displayed on the same page as the radio code. I won't just give out a code without making sure the information matches that vin.
