More than they should, was not always this bad. At higher RPMs it's not as noticable. Is my Idle to low? A Short? another Lucas dirty trick?
Beats me!
Thanks,
Mike.

Check the easy stuff first:

alternator belt tightness. Look for slippage, like shiny/glazed pulley. See if you can turn the pulley and make it slip in the belt.

check all alternator/battery related connection...corrosion free.

Check the grounding locations for corrosion. There are several.

Hook up a DVM and watch the readout while idling and higher rpm. If the volt is fluctuating still after all of the above then have the alternator checked at a local auto parts store or alternator rebuild shop. It's usually free.

XKs unlimited sells alternator rebuild kits.

Check your voltage regulator.
