Just out of curiosity what would be the onroad performance gain(s) or losses by removing the 1.22 highrange for the 1.41 version?

You'd lower the ratios by (1.22/1.44)* 100% so the acceleration would improve, fuel economy tanks. probably not abad move if you are going to switch to taller tires such as 235/85
