Continuing from the Discoweb Video thread...

Exhaust-

I have an NRP which tucks up really tight to the bumper...possibly contributuing to my frequent bulb failures in the left rear bumper cluster ;-)

My only concern with it is it points down at the end and the plane of the opening is parallel to the ground and I've had my engine die two or three times when my ass is sliding in mud or dirt coming off a ledge and the tip is completely sealed. Only seen it really happen to NRP pipes because they seal up the pipe so well when sliding it down a ledge of dirt, grass, or other loose crap.

Now I roll down in certain spots that I know this will happen in neutral and rev the motor enough to blow the crap away from the pipe. I may drill a hole just before the tip and just aft of the resonator to try and remedy this...

What do others have, that arent's stock? Short pipe? Side pipes? Through the quarter? Falcon? Borla? I sort of like the 88 Classic stock resonator pipe design at the tip. It has a rolled lip (like a condom) and is pointed out to the drivers side...

I trimmed mine and ran it through the quarter panel. Never gets stuffed that way.

I hacked off the rear muffler and extended what was left with a short pipe that tucks way up behind the bumper. It rolls down at the end and is cut on the horizontal. You'd have to stuff the whole rear bumper deep to clog it up.

Yes, I do get some fumes, very occasionally.
