Yeh, so after 2 years of having no clock lite at night ( i know, im lazy) i went to change it.
I got stuck when I coudlnt get the damn bulb out of the little balck socket

Yup, you guesssed it, I broke the bulb off, then broke the socket trying to get the broken end out.

So can I just buy this small part?
anyone have any ideas?

Joshua ( still un-illuminated)

Hey I have an un-illuminated clock also. Any hints on replacing mine before I find my self with your same problem?

Ben

I know this sounds bad, but you might try the dealer (if you are in a close proximity to one). I was in there the other day to ask them about my clock light (or really what I need to buy in order to fix) and they told me not to worry about it and they fixed it on the spot for me--it took them about 30 seconds:)

I know this doesn't help your situation much, but I thought I would just throw it in there.

Hope you figure it out!

Chris

Ben, the actual install ect is a piece of cake, and the tech section here has a great diagram and instructions.
I just think I need the new entire set up with mount, because i butchered mine...I think you can try and pull the bulbn out with no probs.

If I remember correctly, the bulb is soldered to the holder. You'd need to clip the leads or desolder them before removing the bulb. The bulb+holder is the part sold by the dealer, so you might want to just get the whole shebang if you're tired of trying to mess with the individual bulb and leads.
