I posted this across the street at the RR bar and got no response. The speedo on my 1995 RR Classic will sometimes shoot to 10mph or 50mph while idling in traffic. I sometimes jumps as I start the engine as well. What can I look to for a cause and repair on this?

Start with your speed sensor. Since your speedo is electronic, a spike in current could cause the speedo needle to jump. This could come from the speed sensor. Or the speedo drive motor could be freiking-out occasionally, which would cause the needle to jump. The only thing left is wiring... :)
