Ho Chung shares his experience in installing the aluminum wheel adapters.

Tire size in these pictures are 245/75-16.

Here's the adapter made of aluminum. 1.25 inches. The threaded studs on the adapters are stock LR parts.
Here the bolts marked in green must be adjusted so that the nuts are flush to the circle.
with a little hammering with a rubber hammer. In place. Very snug fit.
Use the supplied nuts...
After the adapters
Before the adapters
The adapters give extra width on the stance. And I did notice some improvement in handling. Also, got the turning radius back.
I was worried the front would rub... but everything went well. here the front end is tucked in as much would go and steered left. And free from rubbing.
I had the rear quarter panels already trimmed a lot because of the SG rear bumper. So I can't tell how much more trimming you'd need after the adapters.
The green circle indicates where the rubbing was previous to the spacers installation. And now I have plenty space for wider tires.
