Discovery Series II Crush Can

These are the crush cans that are supplied with the air bag version of the ARB bullbar. I hope you can see the failure point on the driver side crush can insert.
I've included one shot of both crush cans from the bottom to show the movement of the collapsible portion of the crush cans and how they did crush somewhat but most of the movement was with that "U" that I have included.

This is a pic in which I circled where I had 1/4 steel plating inserted in a box shape around the circumference of the inside of the can and had it welded in place plus another plate was welded to the bottom of the can to the rear of that "U" to keep that from failing in the future.
