Aedofab Front Bumper, Rear Bumper, Rock Sliders, Offset Spare Tire mount, Rear Brake Line Extended Mount, Sway Bar Mount Extensions, Sway Bar Disconnects
RoverTym 3" Lift Springs, HD Castor Corrected Radius Arms, HD Rear Trailing Links, Shock Mounts, A-Arm Extension, and Rear Articulation Cones
Tom Woods Custom Front and Rear HD CV Driveshafts, no driveline vibes
Great Basin Rovers 4.10 Gears. Installed using GBR's master install kits
4 Wheel Air 10 lb CO2 Tank mount. (I am keeping the tank)
Expeditionware Spring Reatainers. Only the lower retainer is installed. I do have the top retainer and it comes with if you wish to retain the springs instead of leaving them coned.
Earl's Stainless Steel extended break lines on all four corners, purchased from RoverTym (sorry, don't have a link for these)
Transmission/Transfer Case temperature guage is installed. The stock temperature sending unit went bad, so I figured might as well upgrade to something more useful than a silly dash light.
Winch is not included
Maintenance
Of course, oil changed every 3K Miles, Diffs, Transmission, Transfer Case changed once/year.
Pads/Rotors/Wheel Bearings installed within the 10K. Full bleed and refresh of break fluid was done as well.
AC Works well, charged it last season and it still blows cold this season, so no leaks evident.
The passenger side exhaust manifold was cracked at around 70K or so. It was replaced.
The stock alternator went bad at about 45K, it was replaced with a new one.
That's about it, I really feel this is one of the "quality" Discos. It was manufactured in July 1997 which is rumored to be the "good time" for Discos. Very little has ever gone wrong with it.
Known Issues
There are some minor dents as shown in the pictures below. The door dent occured before I got sliders.
One of the little clips on the rear sun shades is bad.
The tensioner bearing squeaks sometimes on engine start. This is a known issue for this year (there was a TSB about it). I will be replacing that bearing shortly.
The RoverTym stuff has more rust on it than I would like. When I purchased it, RoverTym wasn't powdercoating their components. Nothing a quick painting can't fixed. If you come out to view the vehicle, it will most likely have been done already, but I had better mention it just in case.
