D2 spring rear isolators top and bottom

Ive read about it but never seen it done. Can you safely use a rear spring isolator top and bottom on the rear springs of a D2? I need about 1/2 inch to even my truck out and dont want to put a 1in spring spacer on it if i can avoid it.

D2 plate on left and D1 plate on the right. 1/2" difference

They call that the "Carolina squat" or something stupid like that around here. People actually want their trucks to look like that.

Yeah, and then those morons go and fit them with HID headlights and don't crank them down.

That's okay, though. Baja Designs is always ready to show them the face of God whenever they pull that crap.
