I was wondering if anybody knows about lincoln lockers. Can they be use on an old range?

A "lincoln" locker is when the gears in the differential are welded together so that it's no longer a differential. I don't think that this would be a good idea. The carriers are notoriously weak and break even when unwelded. The other problem is that the tires will scrub around turns and wear faster.

Without getting into opinions about which is better, get an ARB or Detroit.
