I have an 04, DII with 55K miles.

I was driving along today and came to a red light and the engine died. It started again after about 30-45 seconds. This then again happened about 5 hours later. I have about 3/4 of a tank of gas. Could it be bad gas? Any ideas are greatly welcomed. let me know if any other information is needed.

Thanks.

Your fuel pump might be about to go. Check for corroded wires on your pump. Also check for clogged fuel filter.

It's possible it's your crank shaft position sensor. Check to see if there are any engine codes, its also possible the sensor is broken and the computer won't tell you like in my case.

Gang -

My teenage daughters D1 died on her way to school this am. I'm headed out to try to access the issue. What code should I see in my ODBII reader?

Can the CPS been jumpered or bypassed? If it can, is it reckless to do?

Thanks -
