ABS sensor interchangeability

I need a new ABS sensor for my driver's front wheel. I took a look at it today and the part appears similar to the ABS sensors I replaced on my D1 a little while back. Are they interchangeable? Anyone done it?

D1 part # = STC1749
RRC part # = STC1865

Found my answer on rangerovers.net: yes, they are interchangeable. At least according to one user who tried it successfully.

Good to know and kinda makes sense although thought the part number would have then been the same.

OK, installed the D1 front left ABS sensor on my RRC and...dash went dark. So far it seems to be working. STC1749 does the trick (for the moment), so save yourself a few bucks if you have a faulty sensor.

Did you get STC1749 from a LR parts supplier, or the Chinese bay version?

Just found my ABS light triggered by a broken wire. I'll try a splice, but may be shopping for a new sensor.
