Unlikely. They simply want the publicity, without giving up the design entirely. Same game product companies have been playing for years.

Well, after being so secretive for so long, I''m betting this is a Decoy / Mule test vehicle.. for whatever platform.

too blatant..

That's what I spotted, and the more I look, the more I think it's on point.

I don't really see how the window glass angles reconcile with the rear bodywork unless that is a removable top of some variety. That's either a drop-top or it's not finished.

Why shouldn't it be, though? It may not be an old farm truck, but it's still a Defender; and quad cabs are very useful. They're also very popular now.

I wonder if Land Rover has been waiting to see whether or not Jeep really intended to release that pickup.

If that's what's going on here, I wouldn't be surprised to see some Avalanche-style trickery going on for added utility.

Cheers,

Kennith

I got used to seeing them after a while.

Actually, it's probably one of the better vehicles they've made, though not one of the best looking.

It's not my thing, but they sure are popular. I think they jumped the gun by a few years with that.

Cheers,

Kennith

I thought I already posted this, but if I were looking at a defender in 2020, I would think Lexus or benz might have a superior product.
