It will take weeks for tranny fluid to separate. You have ingress somewhere. How's the transfer case fluid looking?

I never noticed that the dip stick was missing on my D2. Chalk one up for learning something new.

Well being that I haven't had the time to drain and refill the transmission until it was clear I bit the bullet and dropped the rover off at a local transmission shop and had then flush the system. All clear now. Don't know what caused it. Driving it now we will see how it holds up. to be continued.....
