Can't find it and RRC RAVE is not searchable. D1 RAVE not relevant as the RRC has Borg- Warner transfer case. I can't find anything under the truck that corresponds with the spare part I bought.
do you see a speedometer cable leaving the transfer case? If so, follow it until you see a box splicing 2 cables together. That is the VSS. If not, it should be in the outputshaft housing just like a disco
Found it. Hidden behind a heat shield or bracket on the driver's side frame rail. Very different configuration from my D1 VSS, which was my frame of reference. Piece of cake to replace once located.
