My wife and I bought our niece a 04 Land Rover Discovery II for Christmas, had to have some minor repair work.
Was getting ready to take it to Florida (where she lives) today but when I was driving it yesterday the check engine light came on. Now, let me tell you what I had done previously. I changed the transmission fluid and filter I used Dextron 3 trans fluid and a Napa brand filter and NO I did not use synthetic trans fluid. The vehicle shifts fine sometimes a little slow going in reverse but keeps showing code PO741. It drives great, shifts great goes into OD great .I have cleared the code but it comes back on after driving 30 or 40 miles. Any suggestions??
