Thanks man! I've always loved the (real) FJ. Defender and FJ40 were both on the wish list and opportunity presented itself! And the no top option is great!

I forgot all about that muddy winching/sliding down the hill fiasco! Bill Burke would have been proud.

Hey Todd!
How easy was it to install those ARB rocker switches? Is that the stock 3-switch binnacle? Just plug and play or what?

Scorpion bumper. It is the best looking bumper I've seen on a Rover.

Brett,

I'll text you pics of my switches. They are in the same place. Yes, it's a stock piece that's been cut out. You have to cut out the rear as well to run the giant wire loom. It is not at all plug n play. It's a bit of a tedious pain.

I still use those switches to run my off road likes I mounted my locker switches in the Sun Roof control spot. Sure I can't use my sun roofs anymore but I never used them anyway so not a big loss for me.

My '95 doesn't have sunroofs. I'm looking to mount two switches. 1 for the compressor, and 1 for my Lights. I'd like to use the Carlisle switches if possible. Time to hit the junkyard and find a binnacle I can hack up.

It is the stock binnacle for air suspension and perfect home for the swiches. There is a little bit of dremel sanding/shaving, but a very easy job! Just fit the middle switch first so you'll clearance the others toward the outside.

What tire size are you running? Did you have to trim anything to fit them?

Lunchbox is correct. Not much room to spare but no trimming anywhere.

Bump to get more "views" than Lunchbox.....

Can't really compete with his better stereo, better suspension, cooler wheels, bigger tires etc, but that stuff doesn't really matter!
