Passenger Side Rear Door Won't Open (Sometimes)

My passenger side rear door lock seems op operate OK, however it's a bit sluggish. The problem is that sometimes even when the lock tab is in the up position the door won't open from the inside or out. Will a new actuator be needed to solve the problem or is there some adjustment I can make?

I had a few of my doors sticking, one by one a few weeks ago. I was afraid I was in for swapping the mechanisms, but found that a little grease on the latching mechanism and post was all that was needed.

I gave all of them a few shots of fluid film a few weeks ago. Seems to be better. But I did go through a 3 day period where I couldn't get it open at all.

There is one adjustment but I kind of think it only adjusts the outside handle. Worth a try I guess.

Open the door and flip the lock mechanism into the latched position with a small screw driver. You should be able to see a 4mm allen head screw in there now that the latch is in latched position. Loosen that screw just slightly, then snug it back up.
