Last I experienced this, I changed out the tps sensor and was good to go. This time a new tps didn't work. Starts up fine but won't shift out of 1st until the engine runs for a good 10 minutes first, then all's good until the next day out. Fluid check showed 3/4 of quart low, so I added it. Next morning checking reveals a dip stick that is way over full - That's odd. Ordered a new filter but I'll be surprised if that fixes it. Anyone been down this road? Thanks.

governor valve or kickdown cable. I dealt with this for a bit, a fluid and filter change seemed to fix it
Have you ever changed a gov valve? I've serviced and rebuilt my Rovers for 30 yrs and never came across gov valve replacement, how difficult is it? Any tips and tricks? Searching thru Rovers North I didn't even see the parts listed. Thanks.
