I have a bad wiper switch. I finally found a '97 Disco at pull a part but I am having trouble removing it.
The plastic is brittle so I don't want to force anything.
What is the removal procedure? Do I have to remove the steering wheel? Ugh !!!!

I finally got it out after researching. There is a "catch" in the holder and I had to pry the holder up just a bit for it to unlock. Now it is back to Pull-A-Part and get the replacement.

You'd be better served buying a new one (See: Tillery).

Any pull-a-part piece is going to be just as old and prone to the same problems. They don't cost that much to be worth the hassle of having to replace it again in a year or two.
