*Yakima Roof Rack NOT INCLUDED
One of only 400 copies imported to the United States for the 1989 model year. This model was the more Spartan and utilitarian version of the Range Rover Classic featuring cloth seats, vinyl dash and American Maple wood trim on the doors and around the gear shifter. The Hunter Edition never had air suspension. They were equipped with spring suspension from the factory. The Hunter edition for 1989 featured a special Cypress Green body color and wheels to match the body color. The full-sized spare is also the Cypress Green body-color. The truck has approximately 250,000 miles on the odometer. This is an estimate as the odometer hasn't worked since it pushed over 200,000 miles back in 2006. This has been my off-road rig since 2005 and has the typical dings and scratches a 29-year old truck would be expected to have. The truck is located in northern Baltimore City.
Lots of original parts to transfer with the truck including original bumpers, radio, side-sills, etc.
If you are reading this, you probably already know the drill for these trucks.
Here is the good:
Rovertym front winch bumper
Rovertym Rear bumper
Rovertym Rock Sliders
Superwinch winch with synthetic line
Aluminum fairlead
Rovertym 3-inch heavy duty springs
Old Man Emu heavy duty shocks
Expedition Exchange weld-on diff guards
Expedition Exchange Spring Retainers
Truxus Tires
QT Heavy Duty Motor Mounts
Hella Black Magic Lights
Recent Battery
Removable face-plate 6 cd changer Jensen stereo system
New rotors
New master cylinder
New brake booster
New Fuel Tank
Recent calipers
Custom spare tire mount in rear cargo area
Upper Tailgate is rust-free (sourced a replacement from California)
The motor starts and runs fine
Here is the bad:
Winch does not work (replaced the solenoids and it still doesn't work - most likely needs a new motor)
Beam holding hinges for the lower tailgate is rusted and the lower tailgate has some rust
Brake line leaks at front right caliper
Air conditioning does not work
The exterior door latches at the driver's door and driver's side rear doors are broken (the metal of the latch is broken on each handle)
The headliner is sagging
The truck will need to be trailered or towed to your home or mechanic for repair of the leaking brake line at the front right caliper.
PM me with questions. Truck is located in Baltimore, Maryland.
