Stiff Brakes

Hey everyone i'm having a brake issue when i step on the brakes, i hear a load sucking noise from the booster. and was wondering if anyone knew what that could be. or how i could fix it.

Okay, let's get the 101 stuff out of the way.

-Brake fluid reservoir full with clean, fairly fresh fluid?
-Bled?
-Bled correctly?

And knowing the model and year wouldn't hurt.

yes to all of the above, its a 2002 lrd2 i also checked the vacuum line does seem to have a leak.

OK, based on what you've said so far, I would suspect that the brake booster (diaphragm) is leaking and needs to be replaced. Is the paint peeling on the surface of the booster? The seals on the bottom of the master cylinder often leak and flow brake fluid, which can deteriorate the booster diaphragm if it's bad enough.

no but what is peeling is the master cylinder.
