I have a water leak. It is very small and it will leak right by the rear view mirror and just enough to drip down to the little ledge in front of the radio. It's odd because I have no sunroofs and the front windsheild molding seems solid. Could it be from the outside pillars? I am stumped.

Mine leaked in that spot and I discovered it when water came out of the Homelink button. It was the seal right above the rear view mirror. I pulled the seal just enough to put silicone there and it stopped it. However, in a post about this awhile back someone told me I shouldn't have used silicone because it will cause corrosion.
Silicone contains acetic acid, hence the vinegar smell, and that will corrode.
You can get non-acetic silicones, but I lean towards Sika or similar products.

it could be leaking from the roof rack rails. they bolt through the roof and if the seals are shot it will leak. my no sunroof d1 did that.
You want to use a non-silicon sealant like this:
