Just curious to know what people are happy with. I want a better handle on engine temp and other stuff as well. I remember a few folks having something mounted for display.

What is the current best-liked tool?

I like what this one does.

Something cheap and with customization is the Torque app. Get the bluetooth communication part for the OBDII connection, 10 to 30. Then use and old mobile phone with a windshield or dash mount and the Torque app for your platform of choice for 5 to 10. Does most of what you need and they still make upgrades and changes. I use it for temp and volts on one screen and then mph and rpm on another, just a flick to go between them, very easy and cheap.

I faithfully use the UltraGauge Blue and my iPad on long trips. I prop up the iPad next to the gear shift to glance at it.
I use it to monitor battery voltage, engine temps, MAF volume intake, trouble codes, mpg and o2 sensor readings.
