AC Compressor removal

digging in to this tonight. What is the easiest way to access the AC Compressor? Can I get to it through the wheel well?

Well...the title of the thread is "AC compressor removal" and its in the LR3 forum.....so.....I am working on removing the AC compressor on my LR3.

collect it and reuse it of course!

and...update. I got the new compressor in and will be refilling it in the morning. Not a horrible job, but not by any means enjoyable either. Ready for this AC to blow cold again! its getting hot down here in Atlanta!

Job is complete and the AC is cold as ice! It was not an easy job by any means, but it wasn't horrible either. The worst part was squeezing the old compressor out between the frame rail and the body tub. Tight fit is an understatement. All in all....took me about 3 hours. Georgia summers don't stand a chance now!!!
