D1 SD high rack for sale. $500. Has a few dings but nothing obscene. Needs to be rattle canned. Has bars welded on to each side for mounting traction devices. Comes with all mounting feet in good condition.
Not really interested in shipping. Located halfway between Milwaukee and Chicago.

I can't find the original pics for the life of me. I grabbed the attached pictures last night. The rack is hanging in my shed. It will be a few days until I have time to unpack the shed to finagle the rack out for better pictures. 20200406_192522.jpg20200406_192501.jpg20200406_192359.jpg20200406_192354.jpg20200406_192347.jpg20200406_192336.jpg

looks pretty good to me. Do you still have the mounting clips per the original post? Do you know once you mount this to the rover how far above the roof does it project? also we have a Disco2 but looking at other post it should still fit, do you know if this is correct. Thanks for all your help.

It will fit a DII but it will not be long enough and you will have to try to balance it fore to aft, and never really get it perfect. It is a personal taste issue, some are ok with it, some are not.

Still have all the mounting feet. They're in a bag in the basement. A D1 rack will fit a D2, it will just be about 6 inches "short" in the back. I've attached a pic off the internet showing what I mean. And another pic of the rack for sale mounted on my D1.

Thanks to both of you for your advise. Having it 6" short does not bother me. I would like to plan on driving over and pick this up from you. I dont know if you want to wait until this craziness settles down. Let me know what you think and i can make a plan to drive over. One last question if i want to put a platform in the rack what are my best options.

Better than the scrap yard, or worse, a RRC!!!! :D
True, very true. I'm just nitpicky about it, and kind of anal about those kind of details, but I can't talk much... I have a HIGH SD rack for my XD 'cause I can't find a low one, and when I do, people want more for it than I'm willing to spend on a rack...

Finally had some nice weather and some time!! Pics are attached. Looks like the PO got into a branch on the passenger side at some point because that's where all the little dents are. Nothing obscene, but they're there. Also, the drivers side fog light tab, the metal is a little thin there. Could use a new piece welded underneath to beef it up.
I also have a video where I walk around the rack, pointing out what I mention in the pics.
All in all a solid rack that needs a coat of paint and has been used.
