since MASH was approved, I'd go with the following TV series on DVD if you have not seen them yet

The Shield
Dexter
Weeds (up to season 4, it sucked after that)
The Wire
Sopranos
Generation Kill

Drugstore Cowboy - Incredibly underrated film. Great performances by Matt Dillon, Kelly Lynch, and small appearance by William S. Burroughs.

I wish you luck.

There have been a lot of good movies mentioned. but hear me out on this....... Get some of your favorite cartoons. that way, it's always Saturday morning. seriously, you will wish you had. I picked up seasons 3&4 of Ren and Stimpy while in TQ on a run (out side and west of Fallujah). I turned the next day into "Saturday morning cartoons" (even though it wasn't). that took off like a champ with the rest of the platoon once they caught on, then stuff was coming in from everywhere.

Damn near every day was sat. morning. Freak'n awesome i tell ya.

I think I have my media system dialed in. I'm taking a small home NAS, a Mac Mini, a small wifi access point and my iPad. I'm using Plex to stream movies from the Mac to the iPad and it's awesome. Anyone else with a Mac, pc, iPhone/iPad or android phone can connect and stream from my movie library. It all fits in a baby pelican case.

I've been adding all of these movies y'all come up with to the Netflix queue and I'm ripping a few every day. Should have a good collection by the time I leave.
