Getting around to doing a tune-up on my newish-to-me RRC. Not as familiar with the 3.9 as I am with the GEMS 4.0 so venturing into new terrain. Got my plugs and wires sorted already. Need suggestions for:

- what rotor and cap should I consider? Is there a meaningful performance/longevity difference among different options?
- where to buy them.

Thanks.

I think the most important thing you need to know right now is how easy it is to screw up your distributor by yanking upward on the rotor.

Good to know. I plan to do the tune-up with the help of a friend who's done many before. It's exciting - a whole new realm of things I can mess up. Times like these it would be nice to have an Elias Christeas or PT Schram living down the street.

Might as well check the functionality of your vacuum advance while you are in there.
