o-ring: http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/STC3166G.cfm

core: http://www.roverparts.com/Parts/STC3135.cfm

Looks like this vendor's core comes with the o-ring.

You'll probably want to search for the best prices.....

The orings that come with the aftermarket cores used to be a little different, so I always order a set of genuine orings and replace the heater core pipes too. It does not pay to do this job twice.

thx for the part numbers. if your saying the aftermarket are slightly diff and you order genuine orings were do you get them from? i called the stealership and was told they only come with the matrix itself.

I've got them as well, but they're expensive.

sorry to bring this post back but has anyone removed these lines from the heater core? the ones in my truck wont budge. i can see ab 1/16" of movement so i know they arent stuck in the core. i just know how far the have to move to get them out and this is getting frustrating. do they have to be pulled through the fire wall?

the metal lines going into the heater core itself that lead up to the firewall.

I've never done this job. From the manual (there are pictures on the manual, so you may want to download it):

Remove
1. Remove heater assembly.
2. Remove 2 screws securing coolant pipe saddles and remove saddles.
3. Loosen screws securing coolant pipes to matrix, release clamps and remove coolant pipes.
4. Remove and discard 'O' rings.
5. Remove heater matrix.
