What about reading books about guns?

I have several different methods of turning the pages...
A semi-automatic page turner, that turns 1 page at a time, and a fully-automatic page turner, that just "br-r-r-r-r-r-r" fans through all the pages as fast as it can.

I prefer the semi-automatic page turner, so I can actually read each page before whipping the next one by.
Therefore, no one should have access to a fully-automatic page turner.
And, any companies that manufacture fully-automatic page turners should be boycotted. Or their employees should be threatened with physical violence by men in black costumes that have fully automatic page turners.

Regardless, I think everything I'm against should be illegal, and everything I like should be mandatory. The full force of the Federal Government should be brought to bear to make sure everything is done the way I like it.

And I believe if some states have laws implemented with the consent of their citizens that are different from other states, then whichever state can make the biggest fuss should be allowed to overrule the other states. Unless the state making the biggest fuss is not the one I agree with, in which case the fussy state shall be labeled "racist", or, in extreme cases, "homophobic".

Also, no one should be allowed to have "that shoulder thing that goes up". I'm not sure what it is, but it should be banned. Because reasons.

We need to ban books over 100 pages. No one needs a book that big.

I was thinking about looking at a Daniel Defense AR but now I'm leaning this way. Hell, I may get both.

Well, if you're going to own an AR I guess own THE AR. Right?

You won’t be disappointed with a DDM4. They are very nice firearms.

Yup, and DD has nice stuff but I already have one though. Looking at some 308s. I do like the Savage line; have a .22 from them.

At risk of starting the DI vs gas piston argument, if you are going to spend that kind of money, why not get a gas piston (LWRC, HK, etc)?

They run cooler and cleaner at the bolt/action.

They don't smell the same, though. That's kind of the hallmark of an AR pattern; the unique smell.

Cheers,

Kennith

HK's aren't made in South Carolina.

You have great, then you have excellence. That said trap shooting is one of my favorite disciplines. Both watching and competing. Wouldn't stand a chance against this guy though.

Just because it's evolved for sport, a trap gun is no less a weapon than most any other shotgun.

Nobody needs a serious response to a sarcastic comment.

Nope. I'm not even going to town; though I might get close enough to hit McDonalds or something.

That said, now would be a great time to score some college chicks if anyone wants to.

All you've got to do is show up and put on a convincing "care" face. That's the best part of marches and protests.

Cheers,

Kennith

Did you see that poor girl who barfed while getting her minute of fame? Poor girl, I felt so bad for her. All these kids are getting paraded around like the damn circus is in town. Funny thing is, the majority of them are just preaching to the choir - I don’t disagree with a damn thing they (or most of them) are saying. Stop school shootings, don’t let crazies have guns, do background checks, only let responsible people have guns, etc. In fact, there are already laws in place for all of your demands! But that doesn’t make for good headlines and a rallying cry to vote dem....because they’ll take care of you.

That's one of the sickest parts of it all.

The kids were targets, and now they are targets again. The media knows they can be manipulated and riled into action. It happens they are at the most emotional, oblivious, and unreasonable period in their lives. They are high-school teenagers: Hungry, horny, ignorant in many ways, and turned on by anything rebellious.

Fortunately for the media, they are also experts at social networking, becoming "heart-felt" on demand, and can trap you in binary logic faster than Dan. They can connect tens of millions nearly overnight simply by popularizing a reaction; and within a week spawn nearly countless sub-cultures and communities.

Their active responses and obsessions regarding popular frustrations are sufficient that they can create a newly accepted slang term within a day, and dramatically alter web display orders (news articles, search results, trending media, etc...) without even knowing it. They become emotional and frustrated easily, as well.

In other words, right now they are worth billions to anyone who can tap this madness. They're the media equivalent of the Holy Grail; sob stories on demand from a bunch of kids that have no idea there will be a price demanded of them eventually, one way or another.

Cheers,

Kennith
