Default cracked dash

My LR3 has a cracked dash and it seems to be getting worse. Are there any good looking "dash mats" out there that anyone has had a good experience with? Just curious...

No, there are no good-looking dash mats. They all look like someone doesn't want to pay to have the dash replaced.

There are also no good Lr3 dashes, they all crack over the airbag

HAHA...concern for what? my ability to be cheap? I love my vehicles, but spending thousands on a new dash isn't in my spectrum of cost. you know?

Sounds like you need to buy a Series IIa. Those dashboards won't crack. Or, if they do, you have much bigger problems.

Have you priced it?

honestly no, but i mean....you know how it is. I am fairly confident that the dash would be at least 1k and who knows what the labor cost would be.

Why don't you risk surprising yourself.

And what do you think would happen to the dash mat if the airbag deploys? You know, or the side where your wife sits?

Honestly, I have only seen a few that are badly cracked. Most just show the outline of the airbag.

That could be a good thing in some cases.

I looked into it. Seems like the dash was around $800 through Tillery. You have have to buy the VIN tag as the original gets destroyed when you remove the dash. That was like $100. No clue on labor time.
