Can someone PM me a list of things I would need? I already have the engine, trans, transfer case, radiator, and intercooler figured out. If there is something else I need other than those major parts then I need to let the seller know so it can go on the pallet. This will be going into a 94 D1 5spd SD. Thanks!

time, don't need the pump and tank can use yours, will need the filler or modify yours to fit the diesel spigot. gauges with the proper glow plug light, wiring you can quickly splice, exhaust down pipe make the rest, ac compressor if keeping the air, have them throw in the lines too. there are some other things that are missing but it's late and I am a bit tired.

bingo. take your fuel filter off, punch a hole through it, and get a remote filter to mount on the firewall too. the stock filter doesnt allow diesel to flow freely enough. i use the check engine light as the glow plug light. a proper cross member would be nice too, but its not required.

I don't understand why, with so many having done this swap, no one person can ever tell you what's needed.

Because everyone's idea of "doin' it right" is completely different...

I'd get everything I could for parts from the donor vehicle

and even if we tell you everything you need, if its coming from outside the states, odds are half of it will arrive in an unusable condition.

True. There's probably a lot of "I got what I need to make it run"... Everything outside of that is just bacon.

i've heard of that happening on all kinds of diesel engines. not alot you can do in those situations. maybe get under it and pull the drain plug? might cause less damage than dumping the clutch.
