It is not waterproof. Here is what the website says about the budge lite material

"This cover is made of spun bond polypropylene. This breathable cover, though lightweight, is strong and durable and has been designed to provide resistance to mold, mildew and other pollutants, as well as other environmental hazards."

I can take some pics tomorrow with it on my 04 D2 with voyager roof rack.

I wouldn't call it a "tailored" fit since it is a generic SUV cover, but it fits pretty well on a D2 with a roof rack. I am not sure what they were thinking with the storage sack though, it needs to be twice the size that it is!!
