Thanks Ryan. But I believe that I asked Justin the question, it looks like he had to do some chopping in the metal as he indicated.

Sorry if I upset you by answering for him, but I thought since the response was a no-brainer it wouldn't matter.

On that note, why does it matter if he had to do some chopping in the metal? It looks like he chopped the metal, put tabs up there to use the existing screw holes on the lamp.. therefore, yes you can fit the DII guards... now if you wanted to put the DI guards on there, it may be different.

Looks like you did a good job. I personally think the rear light cluster on a D1 looks better than a D2 though.

I did not do the work , but was told every thing was ez except the bump outs to mach the bigger lights
