Is there anything out there better then the OEM 130 amp Bosch for the D2? I need a new alternator and RC (or BPoU now) sells the Bosch for $265 new... Just wondering if there is something that puts out more amps for the same price or less...

the only thing that I have seen that puts out more power is the mean green but it costs considerably more and I doubt it is a stocked item.

the 130 amp bosch should be plenty for most applications. If I were you, I wouldn't worry about replacing it with the same. Give Will a call and see what kind of price he can get you on one.

A friend of mine just told me the P38 uses a 150 amp... But I have no idea if it would bolt up to the D2, and it's a good bit more $.

But the 130 amp has been fine so I'm fine replacing it with another...
