Earthroamer, sportmobile, unimogs, all the military shit is overkill and lack styule. Cool in their own right, but at this point, if you want to keep your Rover, looking Rover and have a nice light weight wheelable unit look at the Campa ATT or Campa DSR.

I am giving these a little more thought. Really nice and you could avoid roof racks, tents and all the stuff inside your cabin.

I've actually seen a personal demo of the Campa. Outstanding work and design. In fact, the only negative we could find would be the stainless steel water tanks that could easily freeze on a cold night. Doesn't seem too hard to envision an easy fix for that though and the thaw process would work better with stainless than with plastic

Generally, trailer top tents will rock pretty well on a stormy night but other than that and the water tank issue I can't think of a single thing bad to say. Sets up in a snap, very well laid out kitchen, storage is easy to get to. Workmanship and material quality are both top notch.

What more would you ever want (short of a full camper on the back of a 'mog)
