Well you obviously have something on your mind about that, so go ahead and say it. This is post # 2117 btw.

No, I am saying that the way Jack analyzes people is by going through all of the previous posts and citing them in a lengthy essay-post.

you know, you guys are gay for each other - i really believe that.

some of you hold these guys like D Chapman, JSQ, and whoever else like some sort of land rover/discoweb messiah. dont believe me, just disagree with them. thats an automatic: fucking idiot, rookie that cant change his own oil, etc. (all for a difference of opinion) and dont forget the searching posts on other forums and trying to find out public, but yet personal, information via google, dmv, ss#, you get what i'm saying.

its the internet, let it go.

Barring very rare cases of somebody brilliantly faking a different personality online, this analysis is very often spot on.

Quite a fun little thread going here, but I feel like I have to step in and say something.

He is the son of Thurston Howell the Third. He was with the nanny when they took the three hour tour.
I find this statement very offensive and not cool at all.
No self-respecting Howell would be caught dead driving a Poorsche Boxter, otherwise known as a "Porsche with panties" puhlease.

Switch Coasts throw in a Beemer and that's Jack 100% ......

What a tool
A "Beemer" is a motorcycle, I assume you mean "Bimmer" The terms are not interchangeable and the misuse annoys us Bimmer drivers :)

Art, got a quick question. From your sig line you have the following:
Art Vigil
'95 RRC TWR edition
'72 Series III 88"
Former Rovers:
'97 NAS D90SW #2426
'95 NAS D90ST #2620

Why would you have had two D90's and now own an older RRC and Series? Was it a downgrade for something else or why? Just cought my attention was all.

while I share the aesthetic distain for a Boxter, the last Car & Driver [I've been reading while my rangie excelled at a smog check] listed better lap times in a Cayman than in a 911....

Was never a downgrade, just time for something new. I was the original owner of the '95 D90 and drove/wheeled it for 6 years until I purchased the '97SW which really was just a poser-mobile, I was too scared to take it out because it was so perfect, so I sold it while the value was still high. The Series was a basket case restoration for fun, but could just as easily have been an non-Rover and the TWR RRC was a cool kid hauler and the best snow vehicle I've ever owned. I'm selling the Series and RRC soon and planning to build a 'trail-ready' '95 RRC next summer that I can wheel for a few years until possibly I find the right 110 - maybe by then JSQ will be bored with his so I can come out of the closet and stop secretly lusting after it. Holy West Coast that thing is nice.

Yeah, I saw that too. Actually their times were identical (3:05.8) and the 911 has 65 more hp, very telling. I don't really hate the Boxster, It's an amazing vehicle, I just wish it cost more. Then maybe Porsche could stop holding it back and quit worrying that it'll make the 911 look bad. However, then I'd have to stop making fun of it. Crap!

The ONLY "attribute" the Boxter has is balance - it's closer to mid-engine than any 911 variant. Any novice driver will post better times in a Boxter than a 911 platform. Put Boris Said or Stuk behind the wheel and you have a whole 'nother story! Dad buys the 911 for himself and the Boxter for his daughter.
