I have a 95 RRC 3.9 that is a hard start or no start at all.. just cranks when the weather is foggy or excessively wet.

I have ran a hair dryer on my open distributor and validated I have spark. This didn't seem to work.

I'm looking for pointers on where to look. I'm good at following instructions found on here or google but freestyling in debugging engines is not my forte.

When it's not wet, it starts on the first try every time.

The wires have been replaced within the last year... magnacore.

I'll check the coil connections after work. Thanks for the suggestions.

Had the same issue way back when I had a 95 RRC. A friend of mine that worked at Land Rover N.A. come over to my house on a Sunday to help Diagnose it.

Clean the inline resistor at the coil. You may have to dig for it in the harness.
