The congestion charge for London is only active 7am to 6pm Monday through Friday. As for Red Light Cams they are only in certain areas, almost is a bit too much. As for speed cameras, they are only put up in areas where they need to monitor speed and heavy accident sites. It is not that bad as most people make it out. They give you way too many warnings for the cams and then paint them in bright colors (well for most of them, got to watch for the grey and blue ones). In the case of speed cameras, you just slow down through its field of vision and then go right back to speeding once you pass.UK 4X4 said:"Perhaps someday there will be robots to perfectly enforce traffic law and you and I will receive tickets via mail "
Its already here.......
In the UK they would have just had a camera and he'd have recieved his ticket in the mail with a 3x6 photo.............
In London for example they have a central city tax....enter the zone
the camera system logs your number plate.....don't pay and 24 hrs later you get the fine..........
Almost every major traffic light has a camera
Almost every road has a speed camera........
You can even get maps to where all the camera's are and a GPS warning system to tell you when your close to one.....
The law's are in place to protect us......say yes sir, no sir and pay the fine
I was bored, trying to get myself back on a late night schedule. I was reading through the whole thread starting last night (took a while). Was just trolling the threads.maxyedor said:How did they guy who bumped this even find it to comment about the congestion charge.
