I'm heading to Tahoe this weekend for work. I have off Sunday and was thinking about hitting Yosemite. Can anyone recomend a good hike. I looking for the must see if your here only once. If not in the park, anything else I should check out while there.

If you plan on entering through Tioga Pass be sure to check if it's open. Or check this link.

Otherwise, it is a long slog from Tahoe to Yosemite.

or you can go from the bottom of the Yosemite to the top of Nevada Falls, and down via Muir Trail - if you're good with your hiking, it's a four-hour trip, longer if you stop for lunch or photo shoot.

no way to drive to Yosemite from Tahoe, do the half-dome, and come back, in one day.

Thanks for the input. After a late night at the CalNeva (yeah that shithole) we decided to stay close. We ended up hiking up to Eagle Lake. Wow it was only a couple of miles but I felt like I was in the back country. That whole area rocked and I definatly want to go back and explore some trails.
