I have changed the thermostat again then Raised front , removed Rad and Resv caps off. Topped off coolant. Ran for a while and the only heat comes when you rev a little but only when parked. The heater core was flushed and no clogging. Strange is one hose out of the 2 from the heater core is warm not both. Also the top Rad to Thermostat hose never gets full or hot.
I can't figure how to get heater working on this 97 SE7.

Thnx in Advance

Reversed thermostat if that is even possible.

I don't remember which hose is input and output in the engine bay, but inside I believe the top is input and the bottom is output. You have to take a trim panel off to get at the hoses from the inside. Seems like the matrix is not flowing if both sides of the hoses do not get hot.

Are the heater control wires hooked up correctly to the heater box, did you mess with those at all?

Any gurgle when you startup? I swear it's impossible to get all the air out of the system first time. Takes more burping and even a couple if days of usage.,

Thermo is in correct direction yes, just in case I looked for more proof online now. LoL

Yes One hose is warm to touch other is cool.

Never messed with controls and A/C works great in summer.

I have heard that the core is tough to burp. Last time I did mine, I had a shop use the pressure system to drain and fill and it worked great. I still had to add a little coolant after some driving but it all flowed properly.

Steep hills are your friends. Pull up one with the heat on and wait a few minutes. Always worked for me. I known, it’s pretty redneck.

I used a set of car ramps one time, but mine was mostly functioning at the time. I just wanted to make sure it was good.
