Rest in peace Ron Santo

You're entitled to your opinion, but a poor time for a comment like that. Steve Stone doesn't have a fraction of the passion for the Cubs that Ron Santo had. He's a Sox fan just like you.

So many, many great and passionate Cubs players over the years. Santo was one of those guys. Maybe if there is baseball in heaven they will finally win The Big One some sunny summer day.

Made me sad to hear this. I used to listen to him call cubs games as a kid and he always sounded like it took it like I did when they lost. A great gentleman, they see that much anymore.

Sox fan? Where'd ya get that? Not saying he was a bad guy. Passion is one thing.... asking Pat Hughes "how did that guy get on second base?" is another. He tried to carry Harry's persona into the booth and I just didn't feel it. Back in the day I use to tune in to the games and almost nothing was funnier than having Arnie Harris say something into Harry's headset while Arnie was panning over the girls in the bleachers and Harry would bust out laughing.
