I'm out in Seattle and looking for stuff to do this weekend. The weather is supposed to be nice so I was thinking about going hiking. Can anyone recomend some trails? How about places downtown?

Check out www.northwestoverlandsociety.org for locals who may want to off road in Rovers.
You must go to Pike's Place, the waterfront, etc. Boeing Field. A flight in a float plane just for the view. The Museum of music or whatever it is called. A ferry ride to the islands for the day. Space Needle. Coffee.

Stumptown Roasters on 12th Ave. It's one of the best coffee places in the city.
For hiking close to the city, you might want to check out Tiger Mountain: http://www.ci.issaquah.wa.us/Page.asp?NavID=526. It is decent hiking for being so close to the city.
For nightlife, check out the Ballard neighborhood.
For sweets there are 2 of the most highly regarded places in the city a few blocks from each other. Trophy Cupcakes (http://www.trophycupcakes.com/) and Molly Moon ice cream (http://www.mollymoonicecream.com/) are on 45th St. If you go to Molly Moon, get the salted caramel ice cream. It's an either love it or hate it thing, but it's a death row, last thing on earth thing for me.
