WTB: D1 in the Southeast

Since the untimely demise and subsequent liquidation of my 96 D1...I have found that I miss it terribly. I'm looking for a new problem, preferably in the southeast and white in color (though that can be compromised.)
This will be the basis of a mild build- wheeling, traveling, camping etc.

What are you looking for in a D1? I have one...love it...but willing to part ways. Not white. More of a faded avalon blue.

I've got a 99 Rioja Red SD D1 that will be up for sale in November.
185k, 2 owner (garage kept until I got it 3 weeks ago), dealer maintained with a paper copy of most of records.
It has an aftermarket sunroof and 6 disk player install by the dealer.
No rust, Georgia truck.
Electronic Locks work.
Only thing not working is the radio and the cruise.
Paints in great shape, I plan to polish and remove all of the swirls in a week or so. 0 clearcoat fading.

Things it needs.
Engine/trans mounts, shocks, front bumper work (fender bender on the pass side).
Grill (I have a replacement that needs painted).
Front seats re-covered.

I'm waiting for the title work to be finished up and back to me, plan to put it up for sale around November 10th or so.

We also have this auto D1 with 115k miles coming up soon for auction ... it is mint, tons of service done to make it very reliable. Here's a couple of pics.

Noticed you're in Birmingham. Did you by chance buy yours from a guy up in Atlanta? Sold my 96 DI, Avalon Blue to a someone in Alabama a few years back. I miss her.

have a white disco 1 for sale, pm me, low miles in really good shape, have it posted on board, live in richmond virginia
