    Rpm

Using a calculator and based on stock gearing and tires you should be at 83 mph at 3000 rpm. 70 should be about 2500 rpm.

    Shocks

I'm with FishER, in application anyway. Make a set of spacers (2 inch would probably be more ideal) then run stock or +2 shocks and be done with it.

    wierd mpg

Take a look at your fuel tank and make sure it isn't imploding from a clogged vent line not letting air in as the fuel is drawn out.

What did you do to your RRC this weekend?

You selling parts of this? If so I'd be interested in the trim piece that surrounds the instrument cluster for a 95 soft dash. Could probably come up with some other items too. If you you're interested in parting with anything, let me know.

    Tires

125/75, 225/70 or 225/75 are all reasonable options as well.

    Interesting dash hisssssss?

Doesn’t the cruise also have a line that runs to the brake pedal switch to dump vacuum when the brake pedal is applied to insure that the cruise is disabled even if the electronics stay engaged?

    no oil pressure inspite of

I was working on a 94 that wouldn't prime, so I disconnected the line to the radiator/oil cooler and hooked an old vacuum pump to it to draw oil out of the pan and into the pump. soon as oil appearedin the vac line I shut the vac off and reconnected the line. Started the rover and all was...

    Running Rich, Will not Start

have you checked the FPR to make sure it doesn't have a bad diaphragm? pull the vac line at the FPR and see if it's wet or smells of fuel. if it does the diaphragm could be leaking fuel into the manifold through the vac line. A better test is to draw a vacuum on the FPR and see if it holds or...

    4 down towing

What's the rational behind unbolting the drive shaft flanges? flat towing should have little effect on the VC as it will be doing the exact same function as when the vehicle is being driven. Also with the T-case in N and the trans in P the transmission will not be turning, so no adverse...

    Charging / Alternator issue?

I seem to behaving issues with the charging system in my 95 LWB. When I was driving back home from Easter, the Battery light started flickering. Initially it was completely random, but later turned into a steady flash at about 80-90 flashes per minute. This was still intermittent and didn't...
