Using a calculator and based on stock gearing and tires you should be at 83 mph at 3000 rpm. 70 should be about 2500 rpm.

I'm with FishER, in application anyway. Make a set of spacers (2 inch would probably be more ideal) then run stock or +2 shocks and be done with it.

Take a look at your fuel tank and make sure it isn't imploding from a clogged vent line not letting air in as the fuel is drawn out.

have you checked the FPR to make sure it doesn't have a bad diaphragm? pull the vac line at the FPR and see if it's wet or smells of fuel. if it does the diaphragm could be leaking fuel into the manifold through the vac line. A better test is to draw a vacuum on the FPR and see if it holds or...
