    Steel wheel help

Great, I hope I can get 60k out of mine. Yeah I like the way it looks but everyone likes different things. As long as it runs down the road and trail fine I'm good,Got plenty of $ for other wheels but why if these are cheap and work.

Hahah snowflake, reflecting upon yourself? I'm far from a snowflake Mr badass. Why you get so offended? Why you make it personal? Are you just a lonely sad guy? Yep went as cheap as possible to run 35"s on cheap ass rims to gain clearance....and don't care. Yep know where the gap is, axle...

    Steel wheel help

I was going to move the bump stops, I'm good with mostly down travel. Yep I'm a cheap bastard, if you want to be a helpful bastard and throw me some cash I'll gladly accept it. I don't really give a f@$k about the rims at $190 if they go to hell I'll throw them in the trash and get something...

    Steel wheel help

They are tight at the bottom of the front fender, it's fine unless full lock and flexed. Running 4.5 inch of lift, 35-12.50-15 on pro comp 15" with 4.5 back spacing. Stock bumpstops no sway bars. No these wheels are not hubcentric

    Steel wheel help

Yeah that's about where I'm at, I just don't want the tire to "self clearance" the front fender if I get in a real bind on the trail. I don't get to crazy anymore maybe 2-3 rated trails and backroad camping.

    Steel wheel help

I went cheap for now so I could just get it on the road, running 2.5 supreme suspension under coil bucket spacers and a 2" body lift. Haters gonna hate but I don't care it works just fine. I'll be saving up $ for corrected arms and 3-4" coils. My first D2 had 2" OME HD and was running...

    Steel wheel help

Thanks! Yeah I'm no stranger to a sawzall and a cutting wheel. I was just trying to keep it a little cleaner, but I have a hard time spending $300 on flares. It flexes fine just hits at full lock, we will see. How much did you cut out of yours SCSL?

Got them on, wasn't 2 bad just took a stepper drill bit on the backside to 14m and the tapper is fine on the front . 65mph on the hwy no problem. May have to do a little trimming or spend some more $ on flares.

    Steel wheel help

Hey thanks for the feedback, I've always had good luck with 15"rim and 35" tire combos is why I went this route. I'm going to ream them out a little and throw the 35"s on. I'll do a little work to save $$ they were $190 shipped to my door and I think they will look fine. I'll post pics after...

    Steel wheel help

I'm thinking since the studs are m14 instead of the standard on most chevys is m12 the actual lug hole is to small. I know other people are running them, I was just hoping to hear some one else say they had the same issue.

Hey squirt I haven't checked the steel wheel and alum side by side. I just jacked it up and threw one on cuz I was anxious to see them. They fit on but have to work them a little bit, maybe once the paint wears off. Lol
