Thanks everyone. I'll take all your suggestions into account. It will take a few days before try any of these. We're not expected to get above freezing until Sunday.
Thanks for the replies. I was pretty careful, I only intentional unplugged the plug wire I replaced. That will be the first thing I check. I won't drive it anymore. It maybe a few days before I respond back. Helievacpilot, what do you mean by "cats?" Thanks!!
Hello all, A few months back I took my 99 D2 in for service. They recommended I replace the valve cover gaskets(a little oil leak) and replace the thermostat and upper radiator hose. I figured I could do these myself. While replacing the thermostat and upper hose, I would drain the cooling...
A month ago, I was not able to shift out of park in my 99 Disco II. I replaced the brake switch, and that seemed to solve the problem.

Thanks for replying

Thanks for the reply. I've made sure the nut is completely tight. I get no lift whatsoever. I think becuase the jack is so old, and never used, all the fluid is driained out. I looked at a new one for $150, and before I make the purchase I thought I'd see if this can be repaired.
I went to use my factory hydralic jack for the first time, and it's dead. My D2 is a 99 and by the looks of the jack, it has never been used. Has anyone had any success in repairing these or do I have to break down and buy a new one.
