    Smokin Deal on a Rover

All I can do is laugh at this thread...laugh all the way to the bank. I really don't care what people thought of my truck but most who saw it in person gave it positive remarks...including the guy who bought it. It was built when I was poor in college and it what it is. It is gone, and I am...

MAJOR overheat STRANDED - need advice! *long*

:agree: Always get off the highway, no matter what happens. I know a person who got far off the shoulder but still on the highway, with a flat tire. A car lost control and hit him changing the tire. Lost both of his legs and now is in a wheel chair for the rest of his life.

    Power steering pump pulley...?

I did mine in a vise and it was fine. It does not take much pressure to press it on.

    Power steering pump pulley...?

It is a great idea especially for $59.99 and with a lifetime warranty.

    Power steering pump pulley...?

Are you buying rover pumps or using the GM pump? I replaced my pump with the GM pump 2 weeks ago and I had to swap the hub.

    Power Steering Pump Failure

I would replace the fan just to be safe, you don't want one of those nicks to turn into a crack sending one of the blades through your radiator, hoses or hood. You will also need to find out where the coolant came from to make sure you didnt burst something (like the little radiator cap).

    Power steering pump pulley...?

The 3 bolts attach to a hub that is pressed on the pump. You need a puller to pull the hub off and either a press or a big vise to put the hub on the new pump.

    Fact Vs. Opinion

It was always my understanding that ARBs claim to fame was that it was designed to take an impact with a kangaroo in the outback and not total the vehicle.

Can I adjust my idle speed?

You can but it might set a code as the computer will attempt to lower the throttle and then it will not be able to if you increased it.
